PURPOSE
To
train and equip new disciples in the Word of God so
they can be more effective servants of our Lord and
Savior, Jesus Christ. The New Discipleship classes
teach basic Christian discipleship and doctrine. It
is an aerial view of all that the church believes.
New
disciples of
Living Water Ministries of Waldorf are required to attend three class sessions.
Session One answers the question, "What are we saved
from and saved for?" as well as "How are we saved?"
Session Two acquaints the new disciples with who we
are as a church, what we teach, and the ministries
we offer. Session Three addresses the importance and
benefits of stewardship (management of what belongs
to God), including building an intimate relationship
with God, and giving God our time, gifts, talents,
and treasure.
Class is offered on Wednesdays at 7:30 pm
and is offered on
Sundays as needed at 9:00 am.
